Jeff Heeg is a ceramic sculptor and potter based in Phoenix, AZ. Jeff spent several years assisting Michael Frasca and Zoe Strecker in the Midwest before relocating to Phoenix with his wife, Stephanie, in 2004. Shortly after, he joined the Mesa Arts Center, where he discovered a deep passion for the wood-firing process.

In pursuit of that passion, Jeff joined Reitz Ranch in 2018 as a studio resident, actively firing and building kilns for the clay center. Following the completion of his BFA in Ceramics, he has continued to develop his sculptural and functional ceramic works out of his home studio.

In 2024, Jeff assumed the role of Director of Ceramics at the WHAM Community Art Center in Surprise, AZ. In addition to his community teaching and leadership, he proudly serves as a board member for the newly formed Verde Valley Pottery Festival non-profit organization.
